Job summary

Macquarie's Commodities and Global Markets team in Houston is seeking a Midcontinent Gas Scheduler to coordinate and execute physical natural gas transactions, supporting scheduling and trading to optimize transportation, storage, and supply assets.

You will nominate gas positions, monitor pipeline notices, communicate impacts to stakeholders, and work with settlements to resolve invoicing issues. After-hours and weekend coverage is required in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of Midcontinent natural gas scheduling experience
• Knowledge of pipeline nomination, confirmation, balancing, and scheduling processes
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and submit accurate, timely nominations with schedulers
• Maintain internal scheduling system with planned activity
• Monitor pipeline websites and bulletin boards for outages and notices
• Communicate impacts to stakeholders
• Resolve scheduling discrepancies and support asset optimization
• Collaborate with settlements to address invoicing and reconciliation
