Job summary

DDS Engineering and Surveying, LLP (DDSE) in Southborough, MA is seeking a Gas Project Engineer to contribute to civil engineering for natural gas infrastructure projects. You will manage design, engineering, permitting and approvals, with field-based work as needed.

The role requires 1-2 years in natural gas/utility design and proficiency with AutoCAD, Word and Excel, plus strong communication and teamwork abilities. Local permitting knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

Location MA Southborough Gas Project Engineer Pay Range: $70,000-85,000 Annually DDS Engineering and Surveying, LLP (DDSE), is an experienced and highly qualified natural gas/civil engineering, permitting and survey firm that has been performing consulting engineering and construction services in the natural gas industry for many years.

We currently perform these engineering services related to natural gas transmission, distribution main design, station design (M&R, gate stations, and regulator stations) and customer services (residential and commercial) for a variety of natural gas customers throughout the Northeast. Our dynamic team is comprised of experienced natural gas engineers, civil and mechanical engineers, surveyors, gas construction personnel as well as in-house staff expertise in the areas of legal, compliance, and safety. With flexibility in location (NY, PA, MA, CT, RI) our fast-growing energy division is seeking thoughtful and highly motivated individuals to be part of our team.

The Gas Project Engineer is responsible for contributing to all phases of civil engineering for natural gas infrastructure projects. Skills and Experience

• 1-2 years related experience in natural gas or utility design.

Preferred

• Local, County, and State related permitting
• Prior land development engineering or design experience would be a plus, but not required.
• EIT (Engineering in Training) certification a plus
