Job summary

Plum Gas Solutions in Odessa, TX is seeking a Process Engineer with hands-on experience in natural gas handling, conditioning, and sweetening systems. You will translate process design into detailed, field-ready drawings and layouts for installation, commissioning, and operations, leveraging CAD skills to support rigorous field execution.

The role blends process engineering with mechanical design, supporting projects from concept through field implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–8 years in natural gas processing and midstream systems.
• Proficient in SolidWorks or AutoCAD and Aspen HYSYS or similar.
• Experience translating process design to field-ready drawings.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize gas processing systems and P&IDs.
• Create 2D/3D CAD drawings and GA layouts for field installation.
• Support field commissioning and startup activities.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and controls teams.
