Qualifications

• 4–6 years related experience in plant operations or maintenance.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• State license as recognized by state authorities may be required (MA, OH).
• Computer-based skills and proficiency in an industrial environment are expected.
• Strong oral and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily maintenance, overhauls, calibration, troubleshooting, repair/replacement and removal/installation of plant equipment and systems.
• Develops and implements plant operating procedures and understands equipment relationships to plant systems.
• Provides instruction to lower level employees as needed.
• Promotes safety, health, and environmental procedures including LOTO, JSA, Confined Space, Hot Work and PPE.
• Performs troubleshooting and documentation, and assists in problem resolution on shift.
• Operates material handling equipment and supports plant management decisions.
