Luminant Generation Company LLC is seeking a Plant Technician for our Forney, Texas site. The role focuses on operating plant systems with respect to safety, reliability, and compliance, under the guidance of senior technicians.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, and solid computer skills. Applicants must pass POSS/MASS and meet PT1-E if required. This is a full‑time, on‑site position with opportunities for skill progression.

Competenze

• 2–4 years of related experience.
• Completion of Tier 1 job performance measures (Operations, Mechanical, Electrical, Controls).
• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Demonstrate standard computer-based skills.
• Demonstrate effective oral & verbal communications skills.
• PT1-E requirement, if applicable.
• POSS/MASS exam required prior to interview.

Mansioni

• Operate plant equipment within specifications and regulations under supervision.
• Assist with troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance, and the installation or removal of equipment.
• Maintain knowledge of electronic control systems and safety procedures.
• Follow Lockout Tagout, Job Safety Analysis, Confined Space, Hot Work, Electrical Safety and PPE rules.
