Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Corporation (MPC) seeks a dedicated operator to oversee outside operations for a continuous process facility. You will monitor gas treatment and distillation systems, operate compressors, prepare logs, and perform routine maintenance to support safety and efficiency.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass drug/background checks. Must work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Responsible for gas treating, absorption, distillation, fractionation, product treating, product gas dehydration, cryogenic and other process equipment.
• Operates gas compressors, auxiliary engines, motors, and pumps.
• Prepares engine room logs.
• Performs servicing, lubrication, and minor maintenance of assigned equipment, including alarms and Process Safety Management (PSM) testing.
• Handles routine maintenance, safety, and security in work area.
