Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Corporation is seeking an operations professional to support the continuous operation of gas processing and fractionation facilities. You will manage site checks, adjust equipment per control room directions, and assist maintenance for optimal plant efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must pass drug test and background check.
• Must be able to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for gas treating, absorption, distillation, fractionation, product treating, product gas dehydration, cryogenic and other process equipment.
• Operates gas compressors, auxiliary engines, motors, and pumps.
• Prepares engine room logs.
• Performs servicing, lubrication, and minor maintenance of assigned equipment, including alarms and PSM testing.
• Handles routine maintenance, safety, and security in work area.
