Marathon Petroleum Company LP is seeking a dedicated outside operations technician to ensure the continuous operation of process, storage, loading, and unloading systems at our West Virginia facility. The role emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting, safety, and collaboration with maintenance teams.

You will perform site checks, monitor equipment, keep logs, and support control room directives on 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Must pass drug test and background check.
• Must be able to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Oversee gas treating, absorption, distillation, fractionation, and related process equipment.
• Operate gas compressors, auxiliary engines, motors, and pumps.
• Prepare engine room logs.
• Perform servicing, lubrication, and minor maintenance including PSM testing.
• Maintain safety and security in the work area.
