Airgas is hiring a Plant Operator for the 2nd shift in Elk Grove Village, IL. You will safely operate equipment for handling and production of gas cylinders, load/unload goods, inspect and label cylinders, and perform safety checks per government and Airgas standards.

The role requires a HS Diploma or equivalent, strong communication, forklift ability, and math skills. Benefits include comprehensive family coverage and strong retirement plans, with work Monday–Friday.

Qualificações

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Detail oriented with strong math and measurement skills.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift and follow safety programs.

Responsabilidades

• Safely operate equipment for handling and producing packaged gas cylinders.
• Load/unload cylinders and move them with carts or forklift.
• Roll cylinders and prepare for filling; inspect and label cylinders.
• Conduct safety checks and processes in compliance with regulations.
• Maintain paperwork for DOT, FDA, OSHA and Airgas standards.
• Assist with inventory and quality control sheets as required.
