Job summary

Miller Pipeline is hiring Laborers to support gas distribution pipeline crews. You will assist in repair, maintenance, construction, installation, and fusion of plastic pipe, and reconditioning of pipelines.

Responsibilities include lifting tools, operating hauling vehicles, trench work, and frequent local travel; a valid license and DOT physical are required. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and on‑the‑job training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 2+ years’ experience considered in lieu of education.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to pass a DOT physical.
• 1 year of outdoor work or manual labor experience required.
• Must pass computer-based testing related to local operator qualifications.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Properly lift tools, objects and equipment of varying weight.
• Compress soil and asphalt.
• Shovel material, soil and cold patch asphalt mix.
• Operate vehicles used for hauling.
• Assist in the demolition, take-up and reconditioning of old pipe.
• Score and break asphalt or concrete with a jackhammer.
• Repair backfilled trench areas with grass seed or asphalt.
• Travel frequently within the area for work assignments.
