Job summary

Underground Pipeline Services, LLC is seeking a Pipefitter / Fuser for our field crew in Phoenix, AZ. This role involves constructing, installing, and maintaining piping systems for natural gas utilities, using fusion equipment and pipefitting procedures.

You will work outdoors with a team on underground utility projects, follow safety standards, and contribute to accurate documentation and equipment operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of job-related experience or military equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• DOT Medical Card if driving a company vehicle.
• Able to work in various weather conditions and outdoors.
• Physical: stand/walk long periods; lift up to 50 lbs; kneel, crawl, climb, reach.
• Pass pre-employment drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Construct, install, and maintain piping systems for natural gas utilities.
• Join piping by fusion, electrofusion or mechanical joints.
• Thread pipe using threading machine or hand threader.
• Inspect and test piping systems for leaks.
• Provide labor and equipment operation to support the crew.
• Perform general maintenance of construction equipment and vehicles.
• Load and unload equipment and materials.
• Operate hand and power tools.
• Maintain day-to-day equipment.
• Prepare construction site; dig trenches and set braces.
• Maintain paperwork and documentation.
• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Keep worksite clean and safe.
• Take on construction tasks in various weather, ensuring safety.
