Job summary

Manpower Group (USA) is seeking a Natural Gas Operations Technician in Clinton, ME for a direct-hire role. The position involves hands-on mechanical work and technical troubleshooting to support renewable energy infrastructure.

Typical duties include operating and maintaining plant equipment, responding to alarms, and maintaining safety and compliance records. The role offers a $30/hr+ pay rate based on experience and includes a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Experience working with mechanical equipment including pumps, mixers, piping, and related systems.
• Ability and willingness to learn technical equipment, plant operations, and specialized software systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and safely in an industrial environment.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and work additional hours when needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct day-to-day operations and maintenance of plant equipment including mixers, pumps, compressors, gas purification systems, and pipelines.
• Respond to alarm conditions, diagnose issues, troubleshoot equipment, and correct plant malfunctions.
• Maintain operational records, inventory documentation, compliance forms, and safety-related documentation.
• Operate motor vehicles and off-road vehicles on undeveloped terrain as needed.
• Participate in the on-call rotation and support emergency callouts, overtime, weekends, and holidays when required.
• Perform general site cleanup and consistently follow all safety procedures and regulations.
