Michels Utility Services, Inc. is seeking a Natural Gas Meter Technician to safely remove and replace meters, relight appliances, and restore service in customers’ homes while following safety standards.

You will join a team with a 60-year legacy in natural gas systems, a strong safety culture, and a comprehensive benefits program. Applicants should have mechanical or technical experience and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Previous mechanical or technical experience (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, or related field preferred).
• Willingness to train on natural gas systems and meter-specific procedures.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities
