Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking a field technician in Oklahoma to maintain gas meters, regulators and related equipment, ensuring safe and compliant operations across our midstream facilities.

The role involves installing instrumentation, performing inspections, collecting samples, and supporting safety initiatives. A high school diploma or GED is required, with experience ranging from 0–2 to 4+ years depending on level.

Qualifications

• EPA, DOT, RRC, OSHA, NEC, AGA, API and GPA requirements knowledge.
• Ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication with customers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate facilities per specs and procedures.
• Calibrate and test equipment for quality and quantity.
• Install instrumentation in new or renovated facilities.
• Inspect pressure and volumetric control equipment.
• Collect gas samples following safety guidelines and regulations.
• Support partnership safety programs and initiatives.
