New Mexico Gas Company is seeking a Measurement Engineer at Engineer I–III levels to ensure accurate measurement and accounting of natural gas stations, design, install, calibrate metering equipment, and optimize system performance.

The role requires collaboration with Operations, field technicians, and regulatory bodies; travel up to 25% across New Mexico, with opportunities for growth and professional development.

Qualifications

  • ABET-accredited engineering degree from an ABET-recognized program.
  • FE certification preferred; PE license required for Engineer III.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
  • Experience preferences: SCADA, gas meters, regulators, odorization equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering support for intermediate projects using standard practices.
  • Offer technical guidance to contractors and company personnel.
  • Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and project reporting.
  • Communicate proposals and status Updates to engineering and non-engineering teams.
  • Represent the company on intermediate engineering matters and standards.
