Job summary

TECO Peoples Gas is seeking a Leakage Survey Technician in Florida. The role involves performing area leakage surveys, locating and classifying gas leaks, and maintaining detailed documentation in a safety‑conscious environment.

The candidate should have a High School Diploma, a valid Florida driver's license, and at least 1 year of natural gas operations experience. Travel and outdoor work are required with potential weekends/overnights.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License; CDL may be required.
• 1 year of natural gas operations experience.
• Basic map reading and computer operation.

Responsibilities

• Performs leakage surveys on mains using a mobile leakage survey vehicle.
• Performs walking leakage surveys on services and mains with various leakage survey methods and equipment.
• Performs leak investigations to locate and classify leaks; completes paperwork.
• Creates and maintains leakage survey reports and related documentation.
