Job summary

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Project Manager for a contract role based in Virginia Beach, with travel to Atlanta or Naperville. The ideal candidate has 5–10 years in supply chain, sourcing, contracting, and procurement on large capital projects, preferably in energy infrastructure.

Responsibilities include leading the gas track supply chain, coordinating with Engineering, Construction and Legal teams, developing sourcing strategies, and managing supplier

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of experience in Supply Chain, strategic sourcing, contracting and/or procurement supporting large capital projects.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams across Engineering, Construction, Legal, Risk and Operations.
• Experience developing sourcing strategies, bidder lists, RFPs, evaluation methodologies and award recommendations.
• Ability to own Supply Chain activities and drive project execution independently.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Supply Chain lead for the Gas track and integrate Supply Chain with the overall project plan.
• Coordinate supply chain workstream from sourcing through contracting, execution and closeout.
• Lead supplier strategy, prequalification, negotiations and performance monitoring across the project lifecycle.
• Identify risks and escalate issues to maintain project execution.
