Job summary

ENTRUST Solutions Group, a Leidos company, seeks a Design Engineer I to support natural gas infrastructure projects within its Gas Programs team in the Minneapolis–St. Paul area, in a hybrid work arrangement.

You will collaborate with senior engineers and drafters on underground utility design, ensure designs meet specs, and help manage scope, schedule, and quality across the project lifecycle. Applicants should have a ABET-accredited engineering degree, a valid driver's license, and willingness

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
Valid driver's license; ability to travel occasionally to project sites and perform field work as needed.
1+ years experience in engineering, with transportation or utility coordination.
Basic understanding of project management principles.

Responsibilities

Support natural gas infrastructure design within the Gas Programs team, ensuring designs meet project specifications.
Collaborate with senior engineers and drafters to complete comprehensive design packages.
Communicate effectively about scope, schedule, and quality challenges across the project lifecycle.
Assist in underground utility design and ensure safety and compliance.
