Job summary

Fire N' Stone in Tilton, NH is seeking a full-time Gas Fireplace Service and Installation Technician to join an essential, established company. You’ll diagnose, service, and install gas fireplaces and vent systems, and perform on-the-road sales of needed products and services.

This role requires a NH State Gas Fitters License (hearth fitters classification), the ability to lift 80 lbs, a valid driver's license, and a collaborative, problem‑solving mindset.

YOUR ROLE:

You'll work a full-time schedule, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM start. We work only a handful of Saturdays throughout the year to meet deadlines. We never work Sundays or Holidays!

As our Gas Fireplace Service and Installation Technician, your responsibilities will include:

• Service & diagnostics for gas appliances
• Installation of appliances and vent systems
• In-field/on-the-road sales (presenting needed products and services)
• Execute to code and safety standards; solve problems using industry materials

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

We're looking for a Gas Fireplace Service and Installation Technician who can meet the following:

• NH State Gas Fitters License (minimum of hearth fitters classification)
• Physical ability to lift 80 lbs.
• Motivated team player with the ability to problem solve
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record

Having these would be a plus:

• Experience working in the chimney/hearth and/or gas appliance service/installation industry
• CSIA and NFI certifications (or willingness to attain-required for ongoing employment)
• Medical card
• Construction experience
• In-home service technician experience
• Vocational training
