Job summary

onsemi is seeking a Gas Facilities Technician in Hopewell Junction, NY, responsible for the operation and maintenance of inert gas farms, gas delivery systems, and related equipment. You will perform cylinder changes, preventive maintenance, and respond to alarms, with weekend coverage as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical trade school or related certification preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in gas operations, utilities, industrial maintenance, mechanical systems, or related fields.
• Able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds on a periodic basis and stand for a 12-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance activities and visual inspection tours on state-of-the-art semiconductor equipment.
• React to error messages on building/site systems and recover from process interruptions.
• Operate and provide Reliability-Centered Maintenance to mechanical and environmental systems.
