Job summary

Waukesha-Pearce Industries is seeking a shop technician to assist in the repair and overhaul of industrial natural gas engines. You will support skilled mechanics, maintain a clean and safe work area, and complete service reports and time cards accurately.

The role requires a dependable team player who can lift up to 50 pounds, follow procedures, and participate in training programs to grow technical knowledge. Regular hours are Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma or trade training preferred.
• Technical background in engine maintenance preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in repair and overhaul of engines.
• Roll and perform shop clean-up and safety practices.
• Prepare service reports, time cards, and paperwork clearly.
• Support A/B/Journeyman mechanics and learn from training programs.
• Maintain professional appearance and promote a safe work environment.
