Qualifications

• Requires technical degree or certificate in Electric Power Distribution or Gas Utility Construction and Service, or an equivalent certificate program.
• Associate degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering or related fields may satisfy minimum education.
• Completion of a state indentured utility design apprenticeship.
• Alternatively, 3 years of wholesale utility design experience may substitute education requirements.

Responsibilities

• Electric and gas system projects including upgrades, reconstructions, relocations and conversions.
• Dovop/Danger/Reject pole handling for single and 3-phase systems.
• Governmental and private lighting, primary metering, and communications make-ready tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
