Consolidated Edison Company of New York is seeking a Specialist in EH&S Operations, gas to promote a safe, compliant workplace and lead incident investigations, data management, and continuous improvement across Gas Operations.

You will collaborate with leadership and field staff to strengthen EH&S programs, analyze trends, and implement Human Performance and Energy-Based Safety principles while supporting environmental incident response and regulatory compliance.

Competenze

• Master's Degree and 1 year of EH&S experience or Bachelor's Degree and 2 years' EH&S experience or Associate's Degree and 4 years' EH&S experience or High School Diploma/GED with 8 years' EH&S experience.
• Preferred: working knowledge of OSHA and EH&S regulations relevant to utility operations; proficient in MS Office, SharePoint, Power BI, Adobe Acrobat, and AI tools.

• Maintain subject matter expertise in EH&S requirements affecting Gas Operations and Company activities.
• Partner with leadership, supervisors, and field employees to promote a proactive safety culture and ensure compliance.
• Develop and enhance EH&S communications, documentation, and reporting tools to support compliance and knowledge sharing.
• Lead and support investigations of workplace injuries, illnesses, near misses, and environmental events with root-cause analyses.
• Support environmental incident response, spills, releases, and waste management in full regulatory compliance.
• Integrate Human Performance and Energy-Based Safety into daily operations to reduce risk and injuries.
• Analyze safety trends, develop metrics, and provide data-driven insights for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate on audits, assessments, inspections, and regulatory inquiries; travel to various locations as needed.
