Job summary

Delta Utilities in Mississippi is seeking a seasoned gas distribution supervisor to plan, direct, and monitor field construction and maintenance crews. You will install and repair steel and plastic pipes, ensure safety compliance, provide First Responder support, and complete required paperwork.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Requires a minimum of 6 years of experience in construction, installation, and/or maintenance systems within natural gas distribution/natural gas transmission.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct all gas distribution work for a construction crew.
• Install, repair, or replace steel and plastic pipes.
• Ensure safety policies are understood and followed by the crew, and coach in the field.
• Ensure gas lines and other utility lines are located prior to excavation.
• Weld plastic and steel to standards.
• Transport required equipment, tools, and supplies to sites.
• Provide First Responder assistance in emergencies.
• Complete paperwork as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
