Job summary

Airgas in Ankeny, IA is hiring a Plant Operator (Cylinder Filler/Loader) to safely fill gas cylinders, analyze mixtures, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

You will operate control panels, load/unload cylinders, and maintain accurate production records while using SAP or similar ERP and basic Google/Microsoft Office tools. A high school diploma and 1 year related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong safety focus required.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely fill gas products into cylinders and verify accuracy of mixtures.
• Operate control panels, valves, gauges, and forklift equipment safely.
• Load/unload cylinders, strap them securely, and maintain accurate records.
• Comply with Airgas procedures and government regulations for hazardous materials.
