Job summary

American Welding & Gas, Inc. is hiring a Fill Plant Operator at our Baytown, TX facility. The role covers manufacturing compressed gas and liquid products, including pre-fill inspection, filling, labeling and shipment readiness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to read and write English.
• Able to read and interpret gauges and analog dials.
• Able to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders.
• Forklift skills and experience a plus.
• Ability to lift 75-100 lbs.
• Detail-oriented, flexible and team player.
• Ability to perform duties in a safety-conscious manner with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and follow all SOPs.
• Ensure manifold meets required specifications daily.
• Ensure all cylinder’s pass required pre-fill inspections prior to filling.
• Fill cylinders as outlined in the SOP.
• Move compressed gas or liquid cylinders.
• Correctly label cylinders.
• Ensure completion and accuracy of paperwork.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, HazMat, OSHA, and other regulatory agencies.
• Other duties as assigned.
