Job summary

American Welding & Gas Inc. is seeking a Fill Plant Operator in Baytown, TX. The role involves manufacturing compressed gas and liquids, pre-fill inspection, filling, labeling, and handling cylinders. Candidates may move and load/unload cylinders as needed.

The position emphasizes SOP adherence, safety, and accurate paperwork while complying with cGMP, HazMat, OSHA, and related regulations. Forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Read and follow SOPs.
• Interpret gauges and analog dials.
• Lift 75–100 lbs.
• Forklift skills are a plus.
• Work safely and with others in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and follow SOPs.
• Ensure manifold meets required specifications daily.
• Ensure cylinders pass pre-fill inspections before filling.
• Fill cylinders as outlined in the SOP.
• Move compressed gas or liquid cylinders.
• Label cylinders correctly.
• Complete and document paperwork; comply with cGMP, HazMat, OSHA and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
