American Welding & Gas, Inc. in Baytown, TX is hiring a Fill Plant Operator to oversee the manufacture of compressed gas and liquid products. Responsibilities include pre-fill inspection, filling, labeling, and quarantining cylinders prior to shipment, plus moving and storing cylinders as needed.

The role requires reading gauges, following SOPs, and ensuring regulatory and safety compliance. Forklift experience is a plus; the team offers medical benefits, a retirement plan, and paid time off.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to read and write English.
• Able to read gauges and analog dials.
• Able to lift 75–100 lbs.
• Forklift skills are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Read, understand, and follow all SOPs.
• Ensure manifold meets required specifications daily.
• Ensure all cylinders pass pre-fill inspections prior to filling.
• Fill cylinders as outlined in the SOP.
• Move compressed gas or liquid cylinders.
• Label cylinders correctly.
• Ensure paperwork is complete and accurate.
• Comply with cGMP, HazMat, OSHA and other regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
