Job summary

Arc3 Gases is seeking a Distribution Assistant in East Liverpool, OH to support the branch, gas plant, store and warehouse operations. The role includes sorting cylinders, handling gases, and serving as a backup driver when needed.

Core duties involve safety-aligned forklift work, inventory control, and ensuring proper labeling and regulatory adherence per DOT/OSHA standards. A CDL Hazmat endorsement is desired as a path to growth within the distribution network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Driver's license required.
• Must be willing to obtain a CDL with Hazmat endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Sorts cylinders into designated areas using a forklift and follows OSHA regulations.
• Rolls cylinders off pallets into designated areas.
• Prepares pallets of empty cylinders to return to Gas Plant.
• Prepares cylinders for filling by removing caps and inspecting for damage.
• Connects manifold to cylinder valve and releases residual pressure safely.
• Fills cylinders to the appropriate weight without over-pressurizing them.
• Responds to emergency call-ins and delivers product to customers.
• Picks up customer tanks and returns them after filling.
• Completes paperwork and turns it in on time.
• Performs daily forklift inspections and reports repairs needed.
