Qualifications

• Experience in a compressor repair machine shop.
• Ability to repair and rebuild HOS/Ariel compressor valves and components.
• Packing case repair and rebuilding.
• Crosshead and connecting rod inspection, bushing removal/replacement.
• Manual lathe and mill work.
• Precision measurement with micrometers, bore gauges, and dial indicators.
• Ability to read tolerances and determine repairability.
• Knowledge of teardown, cleaning, inspection, machining, and assembly procedures.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on repair and rebuilding of compressor components in a machine shop environment.
• Works with minimal supervision to complete repairs and rebuilds.
• Ensure quality control and adherence to specifications.
