Job summary

Qualifications

• Technical/trade school certification or equivalent experience.
• Gas compression industry experience preferred; CAT, Ariel and Cummins certifications welcomed.
• Valid driver’s license with DMV history acceptable to employer.
• Excellent customer service and clear communication essential.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and overhaul tasks on compression equipment.
• Follow safety policies and company handbook.
• Gather data for unit operation reports and meet deadlines.
• Respond to inquiries from supervisor or customers promptly.
• Work with customer and supervisor on major repairs; escalate as needed.
• Operate service vehicle safely and maintain vehicle.
• Collaborate with sales to identify new service or equipment opportunities.
• Coordinate with parts department to ensure availability of parts.
• Maintain clean, safe working conditions on site.
• Handle various compression equipment including gas lift units and other related gear.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
