Job summary

The Canco Serpent River First Nation Gas & Convenience is seeking a reliable Gas Bar Sales Clerk to join our customer service team in Cutler. You will process payments and help customers while maintaining accurate sales records and stock displays.

Responsibilities include restocking, ensuring store and pump safety, and promoting our fuel programs. Training on our systems is provided; must be able to lift up to 30 lbs in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn the Point-of-Sale system and rectify financial errors.
• Weekend availability is required.
• Prior sales experience is an asset; training on our systems will be provided.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or in a team.
• Multitask, make decisions, and troubleshoot as needed.
• CPIC background check free of theft offenses.

Responsibilities

• Process payments via cash, charge, debit, and credit transactions.
• Maintain accountability for all sales transactions during shifts.
• Restock shelves and create product displays to optimize inventory flow.
• Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the store interior, displays, walkways, and fuel pumps.
• Promote SRFN Limited Partnership and Canco fuel programs.
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages promptly.
• Learn and use new systems to support supervisorial duties.
• Capable of lifting a maximum of 30 lbs.
• Function effectively in a medium-to-fast-paced environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
