Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Gas and Chemical Technician for a leading semiconductor manufacturer in Austin, TX. You will operate and maintain gas and chemical distribution systems in a safety-focused environment, perform container changes, and assist in equipment maintenance.

The role offers hands-on training, potential for contract-to-permanent conversion, and emphasis on safety and teamwork. Day shift, Sundays–Tuesdays, with every other Wednesday off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and speak English fluently.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain chemical and gas distribution systems safely and efficiently.
• Handle and change-out gas, chemical, and slurry containers.
• Troubleshoot and perform preventative/repair maintenance on gas and chemical equipment.
• Support computer operations to support job functions and customer needs.
• Assist in supporting quality systems and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

As a Gas and Chemical Technician, you will be part of the Gas Operations department supporting the EMD Electronics services team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong safety awareness, technical aptitude, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Gas and Chemical Technician

Location: Austin, TX

Pay Range: $21.68

Shift: Day shift (Sunday through Tuesday, every other Wednesday)
