Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Payroll Analyst II – Garnishments in Phoenix, AZ. The role focuses on end-to-end garnishment processing, audits, and compliance across federal/state requirements. You will collaborate with ADP, Workday, HR, and third-party agencies while ensuring accurate, timely deductions and employee case management.

The position requires 2–4 years of payroll experience, with a hybrid onsite schedule (4 days in office, 1 day remote). Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of payroll experience in large, complex orgs.
• Experience with garnishments and related compliance.

Responsibilities

• Process court-ordered wage garnishments and state/federal levies.
• Audit and reconcile garnishment accounts and payments.
• Maintain start/stop dates for garnishments and research errors.
• Prepare and file year-end tax forms (W-2, W-2c) as needed.
• Respond to inquiries from external agencies and employees.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for garnishments.
