Job Description
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Practice safety rules.
- Follow verbal and written instructions.
- Report to and assist immediate supervisor.
- Perform quality work as determined by project specifications.
- Accountable for all tools and materials at the end of your shift.
- Work well as part of a team.

- Mobilization and Demobilization - Ability to mobilize equipment, including loading, unloading, securing, setup, and teardown.
- Equipment Maintenance - Ensure all equipment, vehicles, and tools are properly maintained and used correctly.
- Other duties as assigned, including serving as backup to other positions as directed by management.
- Lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds daily.
- Manipulate various hand tools daily.
- Stand for more than two hours, with regular twisting, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, and stooping.
- Identify colors and use manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
- Communicate orally and understand spoken language.
- Operate motorized equipment safely and perform procedures carefully to prevent injury.
- Work in environments with drafts, noise, temperature variations, or similar discomforts.
- Proofread and check documents for accuracy; use a keyboard for data entry.
- Comply with company’s drug and alcohol policy.
- Pass physical examinations as required.
- Climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding, etc.
- Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and work at heights or in confined spaces.
- Assist with lifting items over 50 lbs; consult with supervisor or safety director.
- Work extended hours on feet on uneven surfaces.
- Wear appropriate PPE, including respirators, when required.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- 1-2 years of experience excavating near underground utilities.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Class A CDL with airbrakes and tanker endorsement required.
