Job summary

UniFirst in Oklahoma City is seeking a Production Team Partner – Garment Sorter & Shipper to help keep our customers on schedule. You will prepare garments for shipment, organize by route, inspect quality, and assist in daily shipping operations.

This is an entry-level, full-time role with on-the-job training and a 40-hour week with weekends off. We offer a comprehensive benefits package: 401K with company match, profit sharing, health insurance, paid time off, life insurance, tuition

Qualifications

• High school education or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to stand and walk for 8 hours.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly.
• Basic mathematical skills using standard units.
• Ability to lift up to 10 lbs and push up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare garments to be shipped back to customer locations
• Organize garments by route and stop number
• Store garments until shipment back to the customer
• Handle final inspection to ensure products meet quality standards
• Prepare garments that require polybagging/wrapping
• Follow all safety policies, HACCP and medical guidelines.
• Perform other duties as described by area supervisor or management
