Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a reliable and hardworking Production Team Partner to join our UniFirst Family in the Shipping Department. You will help keep customers on schedule by ensuring on-time delivery of garments, with a 5-day work week and weekends off, plus on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to stand and walk for an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to read, write and communicate clearly with management.
• Ability to perform basic math using US standard units in weight, measurement, volume, and distance.
• Lifting up to 10 lbs. and pushing up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare garments to be shipped back to customer locations.
• Organize garments by route and stop number.
• Store garments until shipment back to the customer.
• Handle final inspection to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Prepare garments that require polybagging/wrapping.
• Follow all safety policies, HACCP and medical guidelines.
• Perform other duties as described by area supervisor or management
