Job summary

Lakeshirts in Detroit Lakes, MN is seeking a Quality Control assistant to monitor garment quality, communicate issues, and prepare items for shipping. Sewing experience is a plus, with a schedule of Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm and pay at $15/hour.

The role requires inspecting garments for color accuracy, logo placement, labels, and general flaws; sorting and counting by size/color; and reading work orders to ensure accuracy. OSHA safety practices apply.

Qualifications

• Keen eye for detail with ability to identify imperfections.
• Basic computer experience and familiarity with Excel, Word, and tablet use.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow directions.
• Reliable, responsible, and able to perform repetitive tasks for hours.
• Stand for long periods (8–10 hours) and lift 30–50 lb boxes.

Responsibilities

• Inspect garments for ink/thread colors, logo placement, labels and flaws.
• Sort, fold, and prepare garments by size/color/style for shipping.
• Read and understand work orders to ensure correct processing.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and follow safety practices (OSHA).
• Operate sewing equipment for labels when needed and assist as required.
