Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a reliable Production Team Partner to join our team in Sumter, SC. You will inspect garments as they pass through the steam tunnel, contributing to quality assurance for our customers on a 5-day work week with Saturdays and Sundays off.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED preferred.
• Must be able to stand for an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly.
• Able to lift up to 10 lbs and push up to 25 lbs.
• Basic math skills using standard units.

Responsibilities

• Count garments.
• Hang garments to be processed through the steam tunnel.
• Visually inspect garments for tears, holes, stains, and damage.
• Ensure garments pass the 20-point UniFirst inspection.
• Follow safety policies and HACCP and medical guidelines.
• Perform other duties as described by area supervisor or management
