Job summary

ReadyOne Industries, Inc. is seeking a Garment Mechanic – Level 2 in El Paso, TX to expand maintenance scope across garment machines including button and buttonhole equipment and PFAFF machinery.

The role requires intermediate skills in pneumatics, electronics, and servo systems, with independent work on the production floor. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and coaching junior mechanics.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years on-the-job maintenance experience.
• Intermediate proficiency in pneumatics, electricity, electronics, and servo/clutch motors.
• Intermediate knowledge of industrial sewing machine mechanics (timing, tension, and gauge) and cutting room and pressing equipment maintenance.
• Ability to repair single-needle, serge, rivet, double-needle, covert stitch, button, buttonhole, PFAFF, and automated machines.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform Level 1 duties with expanded scope and independence.
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain button machines, buttonhole machines, PFAFF equipment, and automated sewing machines.
• Apply intermediate knowledge of pneumatics, electricity, electronics, and servo/clutch motors to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Maintain cutting room and pressing equipment.
• Lead assigned repairs with minimal supervision from the Lead Mechanic.
• Contribute to preventive maintenance schedules and document findings.
