About the role: We are a busy, well-established landscaping and garden-services business serving residential clients in the Washington, D.C. area. We are searching for a hardworking and responsible team member. You will work alongside a small team of landscapers to complete one or more client projects each day. Landscapers perform a variety of tasks including planting, mulching, raking, mowing, pruning, installing irrigation systems, and installing hardscape features. We are looking for a team player who has an attention to detail.

Key responsibilities

• Work collaboratively on a landscaping team of 2 - 3 crew members.
• Establish and maintain client gardens to include planting, mulching, raking, mowing, pruning, installing irrigation systems, and installing hardscape features.
• Collect and dispose of garden debris and litter.
• Follow supervisor’s instructions when implementing new projects and updating established gardens.
• Work efficiently with a focus on quality results.
• Work outdoors in all seasonal weather conditions.

Required:

• Previous landscaping experience preferred.
• Plant identification skills and knowledge of landscaping best practices, or a strong desire to learn from team members.
