Gardener, Whistling Straits

Opportunity

Join our dedicated Whistling Straits team, where you’ll help nurture and preserve the unique beauty and charm of all corners of our world-class golf course.

Responsibilities include:

• Tend a newly developed fruit, vegetable, and herb garden that will produce food items to be served to guests within hours of harvest.
• Soil preparation, planting, weeding, watering, and harvesting.
• Operate small, medium, and large-sized equipment as directed to accomplish job assignments.
• Follow all written standard operating procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself, colleagues, guests, and the public.
• Assist in special projects as assigned.
• Perform any other work assigned by Whistling Straits Culinary or WS Landscape Services.

This is a seasonal opportunity, working from April to November. Shifts will vary on weekdays and weekends, from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Skills/Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older to apply.
• High school education required.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Basic knowledge of plants and their care preferred.
• General landscape or farm experience is a bonus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.

The hourly rate for this position is $15.00, influenced by experience, education, and work location.
