Job summary

Gardener / Grounds Maintenance Operative role in Abingdon with Catering. Temporary position to start immediately and continue until 31 October.

You will handle general garden upkeep, grass cutting, strimming, weeding and tidying outdoor spaces at temporary and vacant properties. The ideal candidate will have gardening experience, be able to work independently, hold a full UK driving licence, and be physically capable of outdoor manual work.

Gardener / Grounds Maintenance Operative

Location: Various locations
Pay: £14.13 per hour
Contract: Temporary Immediate start until 31st October

We are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Gardener / Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team on a temporary basis.

Duties will include:

• General garden maintenance
• Grass cutting and mowing
• Strimming
• Weeding and tidying outdoor areas
• Maintaining gardens at temporary and vacant properties before they are re-let
• Visiting properties during the summer months to help ensure gardens are kept tidy and presentable

The ideal candidate will:

• Have previous gardening or grounds maintenance experience
• Be comfortable working independently
• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Be reliable and physically able to carry out outdoor manual work
• A work van may be available. Alternatively, if using your own vehicle, mileage can be claimed.
