Pebble Beach Company is seeking a Gardener 2 to maintain areas in line with the Del Monte Forest Land Use Plan and related coastal access plans, including 17 Mile Drive. The role involves operating power equipment, removing exotics, and collaborating with the supervisor on assignments and budget targets.

Applicants should have basic horticultural skills, a willingness to work outdoors, and a valid California driver's license.

Responsabilidades

• Install and maintain native plant material.
• Maintain pedestrian trails, points of interest along 17 Mile Drive and equestrian trails.
• Operate power equipment and vehicles.
• Assist Supervisor with special assignments.
• Remove exotic plants by mechanical and chemical methods.
• Use all types of hand tools.
• Work with Supervisor to achieve revenue budget.
• Maintain a presentable appearance and courteous manner, projecting a positive attitude to other departments, Forest residents and visitors.
• Apply herbicides, report damage to Supervisor.
• Operate vehicles and equipment in a safe manner.
• Maintain the ornamental landscaping at the gates and other company facilities.
• Comply with all Pebble Beach Company safety and health policies and procedures.

The Gardener 2 works to maintain areas in compliance with the Del Monte Forest Land Use Plan and Spanish Bay Resource Management Plan, 17 Mile Drive Coastal Access Plan and all other natural areas of the forest.
