Cedars of Marin is seeking a compassionate Garden Instructor to join our Garden Program in California. You will plan and support meaningful gardening activities, including hands-on horticulture projects and community-based work opportunities, helping clients build skills and independence.

• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or teaching experience highly preferred.
• Experience in gardening, landscaping, and yard maintenance.
• Ability to pass an employment background check.
• Valid driver's license with minimum 3 years of driving experience.

Founded in 1919, our exceptional person-centered programs and services have supported individuals in living creative, productive, joyful, and healthy lives for more than a century.Cedars Textile Collaborative (TAC) offers Cedars clients fun, inspiring, and creative day programs. We are currently looking for a compassionate and skilled part-time Garden Instructor to join our Garden Program!As a Garden Instructor, you will work with Cedars clients to plan and support meaningful gardening activities, including hands-on horticulture projects, community-based work opportunities, and skill-building activities. You will help create an environment where individuals can develop confidence, independence, and a sense of accomplishment through gardening and outdoor projects.The TAC Program is set on more than two dozen acres overlooking San Anselmo. This beautiful, remote property includes a community garden, art barn studio space, upgraded kitchen, weaving studio, and more!This position will require some degree of caregiving, to the extent that a participant requires.The hours are Monday through Friday from 8 am – 4 pm.
