The Garden Center Team Member will provide a friendly and efficient customer experience. The position involves building rapport through customer interactions and offering suggestions to increase sales.

Job duties:

  • Greet and engage all customers, providing Best in Class service.
  • Keep all endcaps, side merchandise, and sale items stocked and appealing.
  • Maintain store readiness by keeping shelves, displays, and kick plates clean and organized.
  • Assist with in-store price changes, including regular, clearance, and sale prices.
  • Perform nightly recovery tasks such as fronting and facing shelves, sweeping, cleaning, and restocking products.
  • Be trained in cash register operations and assist at the register as needed.
  • Support merchandise resets, visual displays, housekeeping, and freight flow coordination to ensure merchandise is well presented.
  • Promote Fleet Farm's customer loyalty program, credit card, and other initiatives positively.

Job requirements and education:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays is required.
  • Previous retail experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders safely.
  • Work in various indoor and outdoor temperatures.
