Qualifications

• 1 year of retail experience in a garden center or nursery.
• Lead or supervisory experience is a big plus.
• Computer proficiency with inventory control and point-of-sale software.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with high attention to detail.
• Available to work some evenings and at least one weekend day.
• Physical requirements: work outside in summer/winter temperatures, standing or walking during shift, lifting up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with their garden or landscaping needs.
• Display plants and garden accessories creatively.
• Complete Cashier, Sales Associate and Department Head duties.
• Maintain attention to merchandise and customer assistance.
• Tend to plants, shrubs, and trees.
