Spikes and Houles in Maple Plain is seeking a Customer Sales Representative to assist customers in-store and at the garden center. This part-time role offers up to 20 hours per week with weekend availability and options for opening or closing shifts during the week.

You will greet customers, provide product recommendations, assist with purchases, and maintain tidy displays. The position requires operating the cash register, handling carry-out service, and safely managing seasonal items,

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• 1+ year of customer service and cash handling experience preferred.
• Availability for weekend hours and opening or closing shifts.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks.
• A love for customer service with excellent communication and listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide personalized solutions.
• Assist with product recommendations, warranties, and replacement parts.
• Keep the store organized and stocked with seasonal items.
• Operate cash registers and manage payment transactions.
• Maintain outdoor displays and help with purchases, including carry-out service.
• Safely handle live chicks and other seasonal products.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to unload trucks and pull orders.
• Contribute to the store’s visual displays and keep areas neat.
