Company Description

Living Classroom's mission is to inspire children to learn about and value the natural world through garden-based education. We empower the next generation by growing environmental champions, inquisitive learners, and healthy eaters who know where their food comes from. Our 50 hands-on, NGSS-aligned lessons are designed to stimulate curiosity and are taught in beautiful and educational school gardens that we create and maintain. Our programs make education come alive for students.

Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for a Garden-Based Education Instructor located in Mountain View, CA and surrounding areas. The Garden-Based Education Instructor will be responsible for delivering engaging, hands-on lessons aligned with NGSS, math and social studies standards in school gardens. Daily tasks include preparing lesson materials, travelling to various school sites and facilitating student learning through our hands on, engaging curriculum, in grades TK- middle school.
