Job summary

Groupe Dynamite invites applications for a Store Manager at GARAGE locations within the New York area. You will lead a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer experiences, drive sales, and ensure operational excellence.

You will recruit, train, and coach staff, promote a positive environment, and maximize profitability through meeting and exceeding targets. Evening and weekend availability is required to align with store needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or equivalent experience is not required but a track record in managing a retail team is essential.
• Experience in fashion retail or apparel management is preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with a focus on customer service.

The Role

Reporting to the District Manager your main focus as Store Manager is to promote a positive shopping experience and build loyal customer relationships. You produce outstanding business results by leading and inspiring a high performing team to drive operational efficiency and excellent standards. You demonstrate great leadership through recruiting, training, and coaching your team members. You maximize the store’s profitability by achieving and surpassing sales and productivity targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; post-secondary education in business or related discipline, an asset
• 3-5 years of management experience, preferably in a fashion clothing environment, or equivalent management experience
• Has passion for fashion & is customer-oriented
• Demonstrates solving skills and decision making abilities
• Demonstrate the ability to promote an environment that encourages participation, creativity and learning by sharing best practices and building on the ideas of others
• Demonstrate flexibility, innovation and sense of urgency in identifying and reacting to the changing business environment by contributing impactful ideas and solutions
• Excellent organizational, time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills
• Build partnerships and prioritize collaboration
• Social Media Skills, Mobile Device Skills, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) or Open-Office
• Is available to work on a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays, as per business needs
